Reuters: A 91,000 acre fire in Idaho known as the Trinity Ridge Fire is coming dangerously close to Featherville. The popular summer resort town is at the foot of the Trinity Mountains.

About 30 residents of Featherville have refused to evacuate, even as the fire closed in from three directions on the town.

That Guy

We all work with him that guy we all have a family member like him that guy. That guy who always has an opinion and the need to share it. That guy with the annoying voice and facial expressions. That guy who makes a story up on the spot just to be part of the conversation. That guy who covers up a lie with another lie then gives you that smile because they think they got you fooled. That guy who apparently knows everything about everything and can tell you how to do anything because obviously they have a degree in knowitallology ( pronounced know- it -all - ology ). That guys who tries so hard to seem cool and with the in crowd that they will poke fun at someone who did nothing to them. That guy who craves attention, so they tell you they’ve been everywhere under the sun. If you say you’ve been to the moon well they’ve been there too. Sad thing is sometimes that guy is a girl and you feel sorry for her.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has announced that tomorrow is officially a national holiday. She encourages citizens to take the day off to welcome the nation’s Olympians as they return from London tomorrow. The arrival ceromony is expected to begin around 10 am.
